Mmm.

Today was good- went to Marysville, the city I lived in from my first birthday to my seventh, where my niece, brother, & sister in law currently live. My niece, Camille, is getting so big!! I love her so much, she has such an amazing personality and 2 1/2 years old. My sister is also three months pregnant – so exciting!! We find out the sex of the baby on the 7th.

Sleepy & wanting to read, so I’ll make it quick.

For breakfast I had 1/3 cup oats with 1/3 cup soy milk, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 banana, 1 tsp flax, 1 tsp cinnamon (way too much-completely overpowered everything else) and 2 tsp mini semisweet chocolate chips, & strawberries. getattachment-1

I had lunch at my brother’s house – we had BLTs! Mine consisted of Smart Bacon (ehh, I wouldn’t buy it – bland but crispy- I’d rather try Tempeh Bacon from VWAV) lettuce, tomato, and whole wheat bread. Not sure about the calories but I’m fine with that. I also had a LOT of ratatouille. So good! Consisted of zucchini, some yellow squash, eggplant, mushroom, & bell peppers, all tossed in olive oil

On the way home, I got to go to my favorite health food store – PCC Natural Markets! I’ve never been to a Whole Foods, so that’s probably why. The closest one is in Redmond or Seattle, pretty far away, but we’ll go eventually. I had a bunch of samples, including Steph’s Tofu (way good), a Quinoa Tabouli Salad, Field Roast Salad (bought 1/2 a pound of that – so good but 10.99 per lb), Turkish Garbanzo Salad, aaand I think that’s it. Oh & some rosemary crackers. In the car on the long drive home, I had a few of my chocolate raspberry cookies – bad. 

For dinner, I had, idk, 3/4-1 cup whole wheat penne with marinara and a small side salad. I also ran two miles before dinner but it wasn’t much and I wish I could have gotten in more exercise today. I did run around, playing with Camille a bit. 

My plan for tomorrow is to eat three full meals with no snacking. Hopefully I can achieve that. Trying to go by the Fit from Within  mantra of only starting to eat three times – therefore only stopping eating three times. I doubt it will work at all for me but I’ll give it a go. So, breakfast tomorrow, 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 soy, 1/2 banana with whatever toppings sound good – somewhere around 400 calories is my goal. After breakfast, going driving with my dad, and he wants to go for a long time, yay!! I wanted to drive so badly all day today. My mom wouldn’t let me since we were going all the way to Marysville. After the drive, I’ll come home & run 5 mi, then have lunch. Salad, smoothie, or the field roast I bought. And dinner, whatever Mom’s making (with my own vegan additions). 

Tomorrow’s already Sunday! Blegh. But my mom said she might let me drive to school Monday. [:
